π±πͺ΅ Lead-Up to Wales β Memories Made π±πͺ΅
Before heading off on his big adventure, Leeroy and our whΔnau spent some incredible days getting stuck into all kinds of work, making memories along the way.
We planted over 700 trees for Richie, enjoying the beautiful scenery and Mother Nature at its finest. The day was full of laughs and βtypical townieβ moments β getting stuck in swampy mud, sliding down hills, and even getting zapped by a few electric fences β‘π. Huge thanks to Richie, Leeroyβs uncles and cousin, and to my amazing parents - we couldnβt have done it without you!
We also spent another beautiful day splitting wood for the raffle β just a mother and son duo getting the job done. A big thank you to Chris Hollis for letting us do this, and to Leeroy for putting the hard mahi in when it was needed πͺ.
We then planted 150 more trees on Eliseβs farm along the creekside (very rocky) alongside her amazing children. Huge thanks to Joe and Asha who helped us out that day, we couldnβt have done it without you π
Finally, a special thank you to John Adams, born in Cardiff, who kindly allowed us to come to his home and let Leeroy and I stack wood for him with a little help from our Jamilah π Weβre so grateful for all the support and guidance that surrounded Leeroy leading up to his journey - it truly made a huge difference.
These days were about teamwork, laughter, and community, and theyβll be treasured memories as Leeroy embarks on his Wales adventure. πβοΈπ
