🙌 A huge thank-you to everyone who has responded to our survey so far!

For those interested, it looks like the Sunday event was a hit with almost everyone 😊

We really appreciate all the feedback and comments coming through, and will definitely take them on board when setting the dates for next year’s series.

A huge thank-you to the Masterton Swimming Club for your lovely message below💙.

These amazing kids and families were not only helping out little ones in the pool but also spent the evenings running a cake stall and scratchy raffle to fundraise their way to Nationals in Dunedin.

From the MSC:

Congratulations to Jeanette McNae- lucky number 116 who has won the div II scratchy raffle prize! 🎊🎉

We would like to take a moment to thank anyone who has helped support us through the bake sales and scratchy raffle over the past few weeks to get these 5 swimmers to Dunedin.

They are all excited to be heading to their first National level meet and are thankful to all those supporting them to get there.

A special mention goes to:
Breadcraft Wairarapa Kids Triathlon Series for letting us set up a stall.
The Wairarapa Multi Sports Club who organises this amazing event.. helped make this happen!

If your swimmer hasn't given the triathalons a go yet... I'd highly recommend signing them up next summer- it's such a great event!

With the cancellation of last night’s event, we missed out on a group photo – so we’ll be trying again tomorrow (Wednesday) at the Sports Bowl.

If you’re a regular at Wednesday night athletics (or just want to be part of the photo), please wear your kid’s tri event t-shirt.

Athletics kicks off at 6 pm – if you’ve never given it a go before, we highly recommend it!

A huge congratulations to the following two kids who took part in both events of the Breadcraft Kid’s Tri Series and have each won a scooter and helmet 🎉👏

We hope you're all enjoying an unexpected evening at home somewhere warm and dry 🌧️🏡

It was a gutting call to cancel tonight’s event, but with the southerly and rain setting in, it was definitely the right one. Thank you to everyone for your understanding.

Stay tuned - we still have a couple of scooters and helmets to give away, courtesy of Meridian Energy and Powershop – Masterton! 🛴🎉
These will go to one boy and one girl who competed in both events this year, and will be announced in the next day or two.

A huge thank-you to everyone who has been part of this year’s series - our amazing participants, families, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who helped make it happen. 💛

We can’t wait to do it all again next year!

Unfortunately tonight’s event is cancelled 🌧️💨

The southerly has arrived and with no guarantee the rain will clear, we’ve made the call to cancel tonight’s event.

We’re really disappointed not to finish the series with you all tonight, but the weather has the final say sometimes!

Two out of three events isn’t bad though! Thanks so much to all the awesome kids and families who took part 💙🏊‍♀️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♀️

🌟 FINAL EVENT TOMORROW! 🌟

The weather is holding up… just! There may be a slight drop in temperature and the chance of a shower or two, but nothing that looks like a show-stopper at this stage.

Please come with:
🏃 Race number labelled (if possible)
👕 Event T-shirt – you might make the group photo!
🧥 Something warm for after the event

See you all tomorrow for a great final evening! 🎉
