It's safe to say that Mac is quickly becoming a yard favourite. ❤️
For a 3-year-old off-the-track Thoroughbred, he has been an absolute pleasure to have around. He's taken everything in his stride, has a lovely nature, and has proven to be incredibly easy to work with.
Today he impressed us yet again when he confidently took to the water jump, happily having a splash and taking the new experience in his stride. Watching a young horse approach new challenges with such a willing attitude is always rewarding.
Mac has all the ingredients to make someone a fantastic partner. He's kind, sensible, eager to learn, and has a bright future ahead of him.
Mac is currently looking for his forever home, and whoever is lucky enough to welcome him into their lives will be getting a very special horse. 🐴❤️

What a fantastic start to winter we've had. Crisp mornings, beautiful days, and plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy the horses.
Today it was lovely to head out for a hack with Mac and enjoy the countryside. Mac continues to settle in well and is proving to be a kind, willing young horse with a bright future ahead of him.
Of course, no day on the farm would be complete without Phoebe, the matriarch of the property, keeping a watchful eye on everything and making sure standards are maintained!
Feeling very grateful for days like these and the animals that make them special.

To all our grazers...Martin and Sam have done a dusk check. Covered those who needed it. Bought in some young stock and moved horses in lower lying paddocks. Its miserable but everything is currently ok. If there's any more thunder and lightening or this rain continues at this rate. We will check again. Contact us if you have any concerns. 🌧 🌀🌈🌫☔️

We had an interesting test run this morning doing an introduction to Vaulting with the very talented Hanna! The takeway was that its tougher than it looks but also fun. This was a first for all the girls and Buddy who couldnt work out why he shouldnt stop if someone jumped off!!
We will be running an open day next month (date tbc) for those that are keen to give this sport a go.
Its worth noting that horseriding experience is not a pre requisite but it helps if you are expressive, athletic, supple and a little extroverted.
