We've been proud to sit alongside our Tranzit group of company brands Pacific Tourways Auckland, Cross Country Rentals and Maugers brands to showcase our complete offering of transport solutions to clients.

A huge thank you to everyone who has stopped by to kōrero with our team and share what exciting developments and memorable tourism experiences are around the corner for visitors to New Zealand. Also thanks to our fantastic team of drivers who delivered delegate transport during the conference.

It was a night to remember at the Family Business Excellence Awards Dinner at the Family Business Conference: Asia-Pacific in Hobart last night.
Tranzit Group was recognised not once but twice for an incredible legacy spanning a century in business ... testament to the fourth generation Snelgrove family who've led from the front. With the fifth generation now onboard, the future looks bright.

Tranzit Group started in 1925, celebrating a huge milestone of 100 years in operation last year. It began as a small regional bus service with a single vision - to connect people and places. Four generations later, that vision has grown into one of New Zealand’s largest family-owned transport and tourism providers, operating thousands of vehicles across the country.

Always keeping family at the forefront, they lead by example, supporting their staff to be their best and achieve their goals, including having the youngest female bus driver in the country on staff. We’re pretty proud to be clocking up 100 years of Tranzit and there’s no better way to celebrate than with the people who got us here… our team.

Over the past few weeks, our 100-year bus has been rolling into depots right across the network, and it’s been something special. Old uniforms, memorabilia, even oil paintings from a former team member… all telling the story of where we’ve come from.

But the real magic? Watching our people connect with the family behind The Tranzit Group. Those conversations, the laughs, the shared stories is what this roadshow is all about.

It’s been a chance to pause, look back, and appreciate the journey, while also getting excited about where we’re heading next.
