Rivenrock Mtb Park

Rivenrock Mtb Park Mountain Biking Rivenrock is a purpose built mountain bike park that has been open since the 28th of January 2017.

Located in the Wairarapa, a region only one hour’s drive or train ride from Wellington, Rivenrock will feature a network of professionally designed and built trails to suit riders of all styles and ability. Rivenrock also offers a shuttle to transport riders to the highest point of the park for those who don’t wish to ride up. Rivenrock has been established by the Hind family, the land-owners, who

believe it holds the potential to become a world class mountain bike park due to its special topography, incredible scenery and great location. Rivenrock is located 10km south of Masterton and 10km north of Carterton on Mt Holdsworth Road - the main access point to the stunning Tararua Forest Park.

More bad news sorry everyone.. we sustained more damage than we had thought. Namely, a holes been torn in the entry ford rendering us inaccessible.
Water level was too high to tell untill now.
So that will have to be it for us this season sadly πŸ˜₯.

We want to say a big thanks to everyone who's been out to ride this season and we hope to see you again soon. We'll get some dig days going when we can and hopefully some ride days through the off season as well.

I'll put together a collection of season highlights soon so things aren't so glum πŸ˜….
Hope you all get out and about for some good riding while we're out of action

Its been a great couple of days with And hosting the North island schools downhill race.
Props to all the riders for contending with polar opposite course conditions, Dry Dust fest on day 1 and slip and slide wetness for day 2.
And well done to everyone who still put down some solid times in the conditions.

Massive thanks for those who helped make the day possible, marshalls, shuttle drivers, course sweepers and our commissaires. We couldn't get these races going without you all.

Good luck to everyone for the next two days of racing down in Wellington!

We'll be back to normal operations here (with a slightly chewed dh track πŸ˜…) in the morning with shuttles running from 9:30am.
