IT'S GAME WEEK!
I hope you've all had a lovely weekend off, now straight back into it! Let's put in the mahi and finish Round 1 with some great results.
We actually happen to have a "club take over" for the 7:30pm round on Friday night... we've got a team playing on all 3 courts! Pretty cool 🏐

From Monday 1st June to Sunday 21st June, we are selling frozen Cartel burritos by the carton or individually. Burritos are $5 each, or $60 for a carton of 12 (one flavour per carton). By purchasing through the club, you save $18 per carton — that’s $1.50 per burrito compared to supermarket pricing — all while helping us fund the year ahead.

Our annual Cartel Burrito fundraiser is the biggest and most important fundraiser of the year for Gladstone Netball Club. The money we raise during this time plays a huge role in helping us purchase netball gear and keeping our club running strong.

We’re once again partnering with Cartel Food Co., a Martinborough business that specialises in delicious frozen burritos. We’ve worked with them for several years now, and it’s always been a win–win — great support for our club and great support for a local company.

Amazing work in defence! So many tips and intercepts and putting into play what was practised at training!

Te Wharau:
3 Points: Jess M - Really got into it this game, getting lots of tips and putting up some great D. Did a great job at balancing the court as a C and playing it for another full game, talk about fitness levels!
2 Points: Joe - Got thrown into the team to fill in and did an amazing job at working with everyone, made a huge difference in the D end. Some great skills and an impressive lean!
1 Point Saraya: - Did a really good job at holding space in the circle to be available for a second pass. Also great catching skills with all the big passes coming in!

Outstanding game. You were there for all your teammates, driving hard and backing everyone up. Also, insane intercepts! You read the cross-court ball and went for everything. Loving watching you go from strength to strength defensively.
2 Points - Maddy
What a game to win. You had your eye in on the shots, knew when and where to pass off in the circle and created great space. I also loved having you down the court in WD. Your hands were over the ball and you put heaps of pressure on. Can’t wait to see what you can do for the rest of the season!

You were just everywhere my girl!! You delivered great centre passes and feeds into the circle. Drove hard, created great space for your team and put pressure on the ball. I also loved hearing your positive comments, uplifting the team. Keep it up!!

2 Points - Jess Deys for strong shooting percentage and work rate in both GS and GA
