Miller Family Drag Racing The Home Miller Family RE Dragster Our dragster was one of the fastest small block Fords in the Southern Hemisphere.

The engine was a 386cui Ford Windsor with Cleveland 4v cast cylinder heads. This combination is commonly referred to as the "Boss" motor. On top, stood a 14-71 retro Hi-Helix super charger with a PSI injector hat running on methanol. Increasing the power from the motor caused the internals of the modified C6 to turn to dust, no matter how much we modified it. For the end of the 2011/2012 season an

d continuing into the 2012/2013 season ww worked with Abruzzi Transmission and Converters, who have supplied us with their top of the line "Mack Daddy" Powerglide in a Dedenbear case. They've taken there famous "Real Deal" Powerglide and have stepped it up to the next level. Abruzzi claim "The Mack Daddy" is the Strongest Powerglide transmission on Earth! In 2016, a new combination was put together consisting of the same gear box and supercharger, however, the motor has been swapped out for a 540cui Rodeck. All aluminium block and heads are also a change for the car. With the car in the stages of tuning and the crew getting used to the new setup, the Scott Miller Motors rail will be hitting the track in the 2016/17 season with something fast and new.

Wow, what a day! A cracking half half pass to start with. Did a quick thrash to turn the car around. 2nd run saw us do a pb of a 6.85 with an early shut off.

Unfortunately there has been bottom end damage with 2 conrods escaping via the sump, so that's us done for the season. A huge thank you to our sponsor's; McAuley Transport, Pro Parts, Highbridge sporthorses, Supercharge Batteries and Scott Miller Motors.

A massive thanks to the crew; Bruce Kempson, Barrie Hemingway, Jeremy Hodson, Hayden Macdonald, Ethan Scott, Kevan Dudson. A huge congratulations to Crew Chief Gavin Miller for the 1st 6 and thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to drive such an amazing car.

Thanks to my wife, Kathryn Renfro, for being such an amazing hard worker keeping the farm running while I am away.

Time to pull the engine down and inspect to see what we can do for next season. To every one that has helped I thank you so much. Watch this space for next season.
