Decided it was about time to remake this page as the old ones been hacked.

Couple of photos of our weekend at Masterton Motoplex, took both cars out for a spin to try iron out a couple bugs lingering from last season.

-Dirty Deeds๐ŸŸจโฌ›
Our weekend started the day prior when we took the dragster to a track hire where we were able to get a couple of decent test hits in to make sure the new transmisson was going to perform.
First hit off the trailer we were able to manage a new PB of 6.08sec @ 219mph whilst hitting the limiter at the top end.
Pulling the car apart after the pass we found trans fluid in the pan which ended up being a bushing in the transmission had grabbed onto the convertor and ripped apart the seal. Not having a spare bush, we called it a weekend ๐Ÿ‘

-El Chapo๐ŸŸฅโฌ›
Running in the Outlaw 71 class our first qualifying was against Dylan DeBoo in the 57 chev but we were shut down after the burnout due to a oil leak. Found the leak was coming from a bodgy manifold seal the blower came off and was resealed and back for round one.
Round one v Aidan Crook
Dialled in at 7.00 (hoping to get that magic 6 pass) ran 7.78sec @ 141mph but unfortunatly had a -.006 giving Aidan the win
Car was shut down around the 1000ft mark as the car hit the limiter. Between rounds we found a slight issue with a air shifter causing 2nd gear to pop back in after the 2->3 shift but top crew man Jeff was on the job and fixed it up ready for round 2.
Round 2 v Crusher
Dialled in at 7.00 again and ran 7.24sec @ 190mph with crusher having an issue with shifting into top gear.
Round 3 v Vindicator
Again dialed in at 7.00 and ran 7.19 @ 192mph
Had an issue in the braking area when the chutes were pulled and went to give the brakes a tap and found the pedal had dissapered. Thanks to the fellas down the end for getting the car pulled out ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
Back to the pits and was fixed up by top crew man Shaun.
While getting the car weighed we were told we were in the finals and that we would be doing a bye run as Gary Sinkinson had broke
Final v bye (crusher jumped in to make a pairing)
Dialed in at 7.00 ran 7.29sec@ 190mph

Cant thank the crew enough- Shaun and Jeff thanks for all the hardwork you fellas put in, without you boys these cars wouldnt be able to get down the track! Mum for the sammys and the tow work๐Ÿ‘Œ and dad for the tuneups!
Also thanks to the guys at Outlaw 71 JD, cloadyand Gav, you guys run a killer meet!

We will be back out for the Dec national meet at Masterton Motoplex on the 3/4th come see us we will be fully stocked up in stickers and a couple of posters!
