A bit windy for the brave souls that ventured out on Sunday for club day. Well done to Jamie Hill who mastered the conditions better than others and along with his partner Graham Bond retained the Taimui challenge for the first round. The senior nearest the pin jackpot was almost struck with Rob Anderson lipping out on hole number 2 to make his two. Close but no cigar as they say. Cheers and good golfing everyone.

The two jackpot was struck on Saturday with Norm Rackham scoring the only two on hole number 14. Peter Maitland had another good round and made good use of the double stablefords on the par three's coming in with 53 points. Well done and good going to Glenn Cunningham who parred the back 9 in his round of 77 off a 9 handicap. Taimui holders Bondy and Jamie start the ball rolling taking on Toddy and Norm for the first challenge. Cheers and good golfing everyone.

Well done to the drawn pairs of Rob Anderson and Richard Porter taking out this year's Glad Beaman pairs. Saturday's medal competition saw Peter Maitland have a good round and take out the junior division with a net 67 with Brent Hantz hot on his heels with a 68. A great weekend for golf with the 1st round of Black Jacket and Marcel Carroll setting the pace with his 41 stableford points. Sunday saw the Futures event held at Hawkestone.
