🌤️ 30 MINUTES. THAT’S ALL I’M ASKING. 🚶♀️
With the days getting longer, let’s make the most of that extra daylight! ☀️
We often think we need a full workout to make a difference — you really don’t.
A simple 30-minute brisk walk can:
- Increase your daily energy expenditure
- Help clear your head and reduce stress
- Improve cardiovascular health
- Support your strength and fitness without smashing your body.
- A short walk after eating can help your muscles use glucose from your bloodstream
- Help you build the habit of moving more consistently and most importantly… it’s something you can actually keep doing!
And here’s the cool part…
30 minutes × 5 days = 150 minutes of movement a week. 🙌
You don’t need to find a spare hour.
You don’t need to get changed and drive to the gym.
You don’t need to absolutely flog yourself.
🚶♀️ 30 minutes doesn’t have to mean 30 minutes at once!
Option 1: 30-minute walk 🌿
Option 2: 15-minute walk + 15-minute walk ☀️
Option 3: 10 + 10 + 10 minutes 🙌
Find 30 minutes. Walk. Get outside. Move your body.
If weight loss is your goal, walking can be a fantastic addition alongside your strength training and nutrition — and it’s often the little things we do consistently that make the biggest difference over time.
And now that the evenings are getting lighter… what’s our excuse? 😉
This week’s challenge: FIND YOUR 30. 💜
Even better — grab a mate, bring the dog, chuck on a podcast and make it your time. 🐕
30 minutes. Every bit counts. 💪🏼
