Hi All,
Thank you to all who have contributed to the clean up effort since the storm. The response and input from volunteers has been amazing.
We plan a limited opening this weekend, Saturday 7th March with Presidents teeing off at 10.30 and club day teeing off at 11.00. Sunday we will be hosting the local pub fun day.
THE COURSE WILL NOT BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL MONDAY 9TH MARCH.
No 4 green has undergone extensive repair and will be out of play for a considerable time. No 4 and 13 will be played into No 5 and 14 green as a par 5. No 5 and 13 will be played to the drop hole after 9 and 18. No 4 green is classed as GUR and not to be played from. There are areas of the course that are still under repair and common sense should prevail with free relief from broken ground, loose soil, wheel and track marks and storm related debris.
I would like to take this opportunity to offer a huge thank you to Dion Hawkins for his massive effort in coordinating the volunteers and clean up and for the time and effort he has put in physically on course. We would not be in a position to open so soon without Dion's efforts.
I look forward to a great club day on Saturday.
Regards
