WARNING, NOVEL AHEAD: Its now been a week and ive had some chill time from my first ever "completed" Boxing Match IYKYK🥊.
Last year, i felt like i failed my mission and my promise due to a dislocated shoulder. My Coach, Sensei, Sis contatected me last year and said she wanted me to fight under her name .oraboxing and i was like "HELL YEAH"!!! and we classesd the fight to come as "Unfinished Business". We set tracks off in Feb 2025, multiple fight camps and no opponents. Trust me, the morale was dropping each camp when there was no opponent, but we stayed loyal for the Team towards their bouts and man, did they do amazing💯%!! F!@ #$% Epic!!
Time came and i finally was matched, man was i ready!! Sensei Koraboxing had put in countless hours to prepare me for this, we stayed sharp, we stayed ready and we stayed on!! If you know me well, i was cool calm and collected, no excitment no nerves But ready!! We went in, did what we did and left like i left everything in that ring. This has never been about a win or loss, but about a promise i made to my late sister and i believe now, i have kept that promise!!
Thank you to my Warrior opponent for giving me a dam good match up, enjoyed our dance in the ring and next time we'll share an ale and chat.
Cannot thank you enough Sensei Kaz for the guidence, vision, leadership you had with me during this prep, you knew we had "unfinished business" and without you, that wouldn't be possible. Thank you for being my coach, friend and family through all this💜thank you to my team , and my D.B .randell for all you support all the way through💜, thank you Uso for being in my corner💜

& will be leading the first Fitness Hub Fighters team into the ring tonight!! Without them at the helm, do not think this would be possible. Due diligence making sure fighters were matched appropriately to constant check ins to even letting us punch them in the face on multiple occasions💥🥊!! Theyve mustard up 5 maniacs who are ready to throw down for them and the team. We've gone through whatever you could think of, blood, sweat and tears and they were the glue and guidance for the team💯🔥 appreciate your work guys 10 fold, time to let loose💯💪🏾🔥

You Usually find diamonds in the rough, our team found ours in Kaipara Flats in the mountains⛰️. This is a special thanks to Sensei Kaz of .oraboxing , for the amazing work she has done with our team. One of our ladies found her and decided to try her out, then the whole team decided to follow suit. She has come in with a full heart of helping us improve ourselves as individuals through the world of boxing💯🥊and that, we are thankful for!! She has supproted the Snells Beach Fit hub Fighters team lead by our leader to what is gonna be a BANGER this weekend🔥. We have learnt so much, from how to throw a feint, to the culture and way of life as a fighter!! We thank you for all the time you have put into us as individuals towards our goal this weekend. Bring on Saturday, so that we can let these Hands Fly!!💯🥊🥊

A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO THE .striking Whanau and Matua Dan for hosting our fight team over the last 3 months. We have come to understand and have found ourselves as fighters inside these 4 walls of wisdom. With knowledge shared when we have come to spar with your fighters, who are well disciplined in their craft and who also took care of us, myself and the team cannot thank you enough. 7 Years on and this shot still feels like yesterday (There is a video, but cant upload on insta😭💛). Myself and 7 future Uso's lead the drive for this march up Mangere mountain, guiding 150+ people up to shine a light for suicide. From walking up as strangers, sharing our stories and shining the brightest lights we had at 5am to returning as one community, one love, one family💛. Tears flowed as we remebered our lost ones, as we struggled with our hard times and dealing with our demons/Black dogs, to realise that we have shared the same pain, the same heart aches💔. We later found out people had seen us far and wide, our mission that morning complete💛. I remember returing home after this event, my family got rest and i sat in my mothers kitchen alone and the tears streamed down my face, to think of my tamed black dog and also my cousin i lost to suicide. I knew he would of been proud of the work WE completed that morning, i knew he was standing there with me. The work will continue as we go 💯💛 Its ok to talk, its ok to ask for help.
We are stronger together!!💛💛

SO DAM PROUD OF YOU MY CHAMP💯🏆 .smika , very very proud Dad today. You set yourself a goal and you achieved it. It takes alot of courage to step into the ring and man did you show that. Result aint what made the fight, its the fight you had to come up with a result!! You didnt lose, you learned.
