Ten Whangaroa ladies travelled to Kerikeri to play in their Pairs Tournament. A lot of clubs were represented and the large field was rewarded with beautiful weather, a great course, lots of raffles and an awesome prize table.
Team prizes were won by Betty and Dianne, Jan and Sandra and Frances and Dee. Well done girls. Jan won bubbles with the heads/tails game and others won raffles and spot prizes. Only a few of us came home empty handed, although the free mandarins were delicious. Thank you for a great day Bay of Islands Golf Club - Kerikeri

The Whangaroa Ladies travelled north to Kaitaia Golf Club to play the annual pot plant challenge. It was a great day, we were well looked after, the course was beautiful with some great and some not so great golf played.
Thank you Kaitaia ladies and please take care of that plant till next year.

Well its a wrap...Final round today of ParNZ...good golfing to all...the weather held which was a bonus...big thanks to the grounds staff...ladies in the kitchen...bar/club staff...and to the members whom generously donated their time, carts and trundlers for this week to run smoothly. We do well as a hosting club👏👏👏...see you tomorrow for our Haggle...

A big thank you to Sam Dangen, Coopers Beach 4 Square, Sams family and friends, for their combined efforts and generosity in sponsoring last Saturday’s Remembrance Day Tournament.
Thank you too to all who participated.
The Whangaroa Golf Club will be donating more than $5,000 to the Northland Rescue Helicopter. An amazing result and something the club can be very proud of.
A few photos of the winners of the fun Ambrose (3 players) golf, but what was incredible were the amazing prizes for the multi draw raffle.

Whangaroa Golf Club Ladies played in the National teams regional final today at Hikurangi Golf Club. Performing well they came in second with the host club winning the day. Congratulations to the team Phyllis Carty- Williams, Marama Wells, Janene Kay and Christine Berridge

Not to long before the Remberance Day Tournament Whangaroa Golf Club - 3 to a team ( you don't all have to be golfers to play)get your names in to the club house. All funds raised going to the Northland Rescue Helicopter.

The Hills Family Tournament took place last weekend with a good field of 60+ players. The format of 9 holes Canadian, 9 holes foursomes, 9 holes Ambrose proved popular with some great scores. A lovely prize table covering two divisions awaited those who played well and the bountiful raffles gave the rest of us a chance to win something, well most of the players... A successful day with money raised for the club. Thank you to the Hills family sponsors and to all who took part. The rain at the very end of the day was not a spoiler.

Our very own Sam runs this event each year to remember loved ones who are no longer with us - past club members, whānau and friends. This year all raffle proceeds are going to the Northland Rescue Helicopter 🚁
Anyone in the Far North knows how vital that chopper is. Plenty of our own team have had whānau who've needed the rescue chopper over the years, so this one feels close to home.
