Please note we are no longer a club in operation since our National League bid was not successful, even though we ran a successful 3 year campaign in the National Youth. Many of our Youth players are making a mark elsewhere, something we are proud of. We wish them the best.

Thank you all for keeping in touch and your support. This page will be deleted at the end of February 2019.

Mangere United NRFL season training started. Every TUE and THU with 4 pre season matches arranged over the next month. If you'd rather play regularly than to warm the benches at other clubs than this is the club for you for both first and reserves team. Contact Head Coach Mark O'DONNELL 0274781122.

Please note that Auckland United FC is no longer able to participate in the National Youth league due to NZ Football not allowing our franchise to participate in this competition, after 3 years of hard work. Unfortunately they still have not been in touch with us to advise the reasons or even carry out a review. We are receiving a lot of requests for information for the 2016/17 season. Sorry but we can't accommodate any players this year. We are glad though that coaches and players we gave an opportunity over the last 3 years are making the most of it. All the best to all past players. We hope some day a South Auckland team will be allowed in the National League. As it stands this diversity seems to be of no interest to NZ football in our opinion. They are the best to make the call. talk to them if you wish to.

Still waiting for someone from NZF to contact us regarding national league license. We were advised in December 2014 it was going to be in the new year which is nearing half gone :)

A very good point raised by Simon Kay today - when you have limited games as an All Whites Coach (everyone involved in football know this) and the Olympics qualifications is botched up then you have to ask serious questions about the NZF administration and how this has impacted Hudson ! Was Fred De Jong the only lamb to sacrifice or should there be others now? We want to know what does Hudson do now?

"NZ Football 2016 Revolution" continues...

For a man famed for his research and analysis, it's surprising Anthony Hudson is now at boiling point because Kiwis are laid back and the All Whites don't play much. - New Zealand Herald

We said so last year - we needed to know a lot more about NZF's operations, there has to be more scrutiny about the way football is run in this country. NZ Football Revolution begins 2016 - lets support those calling for changes and scrutiny and well done Hudson !! and hope more media interest will be generated.

It's usually the media's job to highlight the negatives in football, rather than the national coach. - New Zealand Herald
