Mangawhai Tennis Club SGM + IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The MTC Committee can confirm that the SGM set for Sun 25th May 11am at the MTC Rooms at the Domain, 75 Moir Street.
It is legitimate and complies with our Constitution and the Incorporated Societies Act.
To ensure that the meeting is conveyed in an unbiased and professional way, your Committee has appointed an outside, experienced and neutral Chairperson. We also will have the General Manager of Tennis Northland attending the meeting in support of our Club and our Members.
We would like to confirm again, that we received the Resignation of President/Acting Secretary Neisha Voot on the 3rd of May, stating to the Committee it was effective immediately. Once this was received by the Committee, it takes effect immediately and there can be no withdrawal of that notice.
The emails you are still receiving from the resigned President/Acting Secretary Neisha Voot are not authorized by the MTC Committee.
Due to Neisha using her personal email address and using your member email addresses without the Committee's authorization, unfortunately we are unable to stop them. They are not official communications from your MTC Committee and the contents of them are irrelevant to the SGM's proceedings. If you do not wish to receive these emails from Neisha Voot, please block them.
We apologize for the situation we find ourselves in and encourage you to come to the SGM. As per our Members Letter, we have asked for not only the President to step down/resign, but all Committee Members to do so.
There will then be nominations for President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and new Committee Members at the SGM and you as members, will be asked to vote for/against these nominations. It will be majority rules on the counts of for/against, thus you the Members, can put in place a Committee that can carry our Club through to the next AGM.
Once again, our apologies and we look forward to seeing you at the SGM in support of our Club.
Thank you for your patience with the situation we are facing.
Sincerely
MTC Committee
