OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTERS & CROSSFITTERS
Heads up that in the coming weeks I’ll be advertising for sale some gear including a Men’s & Womens Eleiko OW barbells, competition approved colars and fraction plates. Training barbells. Some Again Faster & Klovov gear. OW and CrossFit weight plate sets. Ab Mats. Rogue Parallettes, glute ham machine, atlas stones, sleds, full weight spectrum of KBs and Hex Dbells, muscle driver WOD clock, dowels, bb rack, squat rack and more.

Basically I have a full Weightlifting Spec Home Gym worth of kit, enough for multiple people to train together, or some mint kit for a club or PT Studio to pick up second hand. I’ve just got to give everything a deep clean and price up the gear. Wanted to let people know it’s gonna be up for grabs.

START ROWING BETTER: Part 1
On the rowing machine, the catch position is the moment in our stroke where the handle is closest to the wheel. An important part of an effective catch position is a vertical shin, with the least possible amount of heel rise off the foot pad. Too much forward knee travel, and we’re losing the ability to use the strong muscles in our hamstring and butt. Too little, and we’re taking our legs out of the stroke and overusing our lower back instead. Keep those shins vertical, and stay tuned all week for more rowing technique!
