Jordie landed this baby swordfish on a jig while targeting bluefin tuna at night.

The jig of choice? Of course, the mighty Roven 260g Pink Glow!

This catch is a great example of diel vertical migration in action. As the sun goes down, massive numbers of bait fish rise toward the surface to feed, pulling the entire predatory food chain right up with them.

Back in Waihau Bay chasing barrels, and the setup delivered.
Even with thin bait around, Clint managed to locate a school and get the job done. This absolute unit tape-measured just shy of 2m and came in at an estimated 140–150kg on the ruler.
