TTW Winter Interclub Series 2 concluded on 26 August 2026. We had a number of teams competing for their respective grade titles.

Eagles 🦅 defeated Titan Tomatoes 6-2
Emperors defeated Express 9-2
Elms winning their Division by 6 matches after tying with Titan Spin Squad

Congratulations to the following teams:

Premier 1 Winner: Empire Eagles 🦅(Manish Ahlawat (c), Kushal Kumar, Callum Rusbridge, Vig Sivapragasam, Hayden Tapp)

Premier 2 Winner: Empire Emperors (Jacob Hawker, Scott Higham, Liam Johnston (c), Hamid Mahroeian)

Division 1 Winner: Empire Elms (Leigh Grinlinton, Andrea O'Brien, Tony Rutledge (c), Kerrin Winstanley

Empire Table Tennis Club was delighted to receive funding from the New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT) towards the construction of our new amenities block.

This support has helped us take an important step forward in improving our facilities for members, players, volunteers, and visitors, ensuring our club continues to grow and serve the community for years to come.

🏓 Winter Interclub – Series 1 Wrap-Up
The first round of Table Tennis Wellington’s Winter Interclub has wrapped up — well done to all our teams for their efforts! 👏

Grade finalists results below:

Premier 1: Empire Eagles (Kushal, Manish, Vig & Callum) defeated Titan Terriers 6–3 🦅
Premier 2: Empire Emperors (Hamid, Scott, Jacob & Liam) edged Titan Trinity 6–5
Division 1: Empire Elms (Tony, Kerrin, Andrea & Leigh) fell to Filipino Community 3–8

Great matches all around and some strong performances across the board 💪
