I strongly dislike the term ā€˜biggest loser’ and making weight loss a competition. It is not conducive to a healthy, supportive environment.

There is no magic number when it comes to weight. Scales cause a lot of harm.

Excess weight is often due to unhealed trauma, lack of understanding of nutrition/healthy eating habits, issues with hormones or medications. These issues can be exasperated and exaggerated by these kinds of unhealthy competition.

Ditch the scales. Ditch the numbers. Ditch the competition.

Invite support, empowerment and celebration for those on their wellness journey.
