On Monday evening Bowls Wellington's Twilight Bowls 3Five was wrapping up with the finals being played in Upper Hutt and Naenae.

In the Open event we saw John Kotrotsos, John Toohill and Lou Watene from Lyall Bay take out the event over Phil Yarrall, Mark Finlay and Faye Powell of Upper Hutt.

The Junior/Casual 3Five saw young rising star Alex McGinty along with Jodie Flitcroft and Aaron Flitcroft over come a strong Lyall Bay side of Justin Brown, Jamie Morgan, and Jessie Smith to claim the title.

Stokes Valley Vipers are into the semi final of the National Interclub Championships which is now being played at Naenae Bowling Club from 8:30am. Get down and support the team as they tackle Shannon McIlroy and the Stoke Thunder in their semi final.

Well done to the Johnsonville ladies who narrowly went down to Elmwood in their quarterfinal yesterday.

Both our Men and Women are leading their groups in the National Interclub finals with the Johnsonville ladies in the box seat having gauranteed a quarter-final berth already. A win this morning will see them finish first in their group.

The Stokes Valley men are needing to win their match this morning to stay in playoff contention.
