Thanks to Kelson School for taking part in yesterday’s year 1-3 festival, so glad you all had fun! 🤩

What fun today as 44 of our Year 1, 2 & 3 tamariki set off from school at 11 am to take part in a Gymnastics Festival .
6 of our senior students went with them (all experienced Gymnasts themselves) to assist with the event.
The Festival was run by Hutt Valley Gymnastics and was held in their gymnastics centre in Moera.

Thank you to all of our parents and staff that helped with the practices, transport and organisation, all required to enable our tamariki to take part in this awesome event!

🎉 Schools Fest 2026 | Gymnastics for Everybody 🎉

Schools Fest is a participation‑based gymnastics festival for school students in Years 1–8, delivered by the experienced and friendly coaching team at Hutt Valley Gymnastics. It’s designed as a fun introduction to gymnastics and parkour, with no experience needed.

On the day, students come along with their school and stay together as a group, rotating through a range of gymnastics and parkour activity stations. All activities are supported and encouraged by HVG coaches, with the focus on having a go, building confidence, and enjoying movement in a positive and welcoming environment.

📅 2026 Schools Fest dates:
• Years 1–3: Friday 5 June
• Years 7–8: Friday 21 August
• Years 4–6: Friday 4 September
