It's with a heavy heart that I write this
We were informed today that Darrell Hansen passed away peacefully last night
He will be greatly missed from the Wellington model powerboat club
Our thoughts are with his family through this sad time

Until further notice the Hutt River has been deemed unsafe to use by Wellington water until further notice

Our team has responded to a wastewater overflow which is causing untreated wastewater to enter the Hutt River in Silverstream, Upper Hutt.

We have been affected by the weather again for our club day this Sunday as we have had to cancel it once again

Hi all
The weather held up for our memorial club race day today.
We had 8 boaters and a good group of club members that were not boating
We had a good 4 hours of racing and a well deserved hot BBQ lunch
We will post the official results once they have been calculated
Before racing we acknowledged and held a minutes silence in memory of our club members that have past

Good afternoon all

We have made the decision to change venue for the offshore due to the forecast stating high southerlies for Sunday 9th March we are now going to be running at the Hutt River the gates will be open from 8.30am we will need to try and move things along so that we make the best of the day and water.
We hope to see you all there

Good evening all
We have standard club day this Sunday there will be no organized racing it will mainly be a tune up day gates open at 9am and we should be there for most of the day if you would like to come and have a look feel free.
On 9th of March we are holding the first round of the NZMPBA Offshore at Onepoto in Porirua this should be a good day out we will put up a reminder post closer to date
