You've offically gone viral Charlie! πŸ˜†πŸ‘ŒπŸ‰

Nice to see local Lincoln lad Charlie James back in the media this week. If you look past the haircut you will be hard pressed to find a young player who is more passionate about rugby than Charlie. Watch this space for his 100th local club game in the coming years! Didn't get the cover page shot, but nice to provide a behind the scenes shot on page 4 of this week's Selwyn Times.

A great day for our Year 7s on Saturday as they hosted HSOB in a friendly match, the first time this team has taken on a town club side. πŸ‰

The boys rose to the challenge and put together an outstanding performance, coming away with a 60-19 victory.
Well done team! β€οΈπŸ–€

⛳️ THANK YOU FOR A FANTASTIC GOLF DAY! ⛳️

What an incredible day had yesterday at the Hole in One Golf Day at Burnham Golf Club.

A huge thank you to everyone who entered a team, sponsored a hole, donated prizes, bought raffle tickets and helped make the day such a success. It was fantastic to see so many people enjoying themselves while helping raise valuable funds for our club.

Special thanks must go to the hardworking team behind the scenes who made the event happen: Turk, Randell, Ahi, Aaron (Burnham Golf Club President), Tweeds, Dene, Benny, Landon, Seal, Jarrod, Nikki, Kym and Gal.

Congratulations to the winning team from Stevie Golding Harcourts Four Seasons on taking out the tournament honours! πŸ†

We would also like to acknowledge and thank all of our sponsors for their generous support, especially our major sponsors Armstrong's, CarMoney, and Hazlett Insurance. And of course Burnham Golf Club ⛳️

And the question everyone is asking... was the car won? πŸš—

Unfortunately not this year! The Hole in One prize remains unclaimed, so we might just have to do it all again next year and give everyone another shot! πŸ–€β€οΈ

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our Club Patron, Wal Scott this week.

Wal was a true Lincoln Rugby Club legend. Having played 100 Division 1 games for Lincoln, he was a proud 100 Club member and Past President. Wal was a passionate supporter of Lincoln Rugby and many other local community clubs, always giving his time, encouragement and wisdom to those around him. He dedicated so much to the club he loved and his contribution extended far beyond the rugby field.

For generations of players, coaches and committee members, Wal was a trusted mentor and friend. He always had thoughtful advice to offer, a listening ear and a genuine interest in helping others.

Wal could often be found on the sidelines cheering on Lincoln, he took immense pride in the club and its people. His presence, warm smile and words of encouragement will be deeply missed.

Thank you for everything Wal. Your contribution to our club and community will never be forgotten.

Rest easy Wal. β€οΈπŸ–€

(A moments silence for Wal was held on Thursday nights Prem Mens game v Celtic - you could hear a pin drop)
