SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMME 🏏 🏏 🏏

BigHitters is pleased to announce our upcoming pre season cricket programme for the Sept/Oct school holidays.

A chance to brush up on your skills before the season starts. Fun games + all skills covered. Open to all soft and hardball cricketers.

DATES: September 29th,30th and October 1st.
VENUE: Tai Tapu Domain.

October 6th, 7th and 8th.
VENUE: Springston Domain.

TIMES + AGE GROUPS:
Ages 5-8yrs, 9am-10:30am. This is for cricketers who play with a softball.

Ages 8-11yrs, 10:30am- 12pm.
Introduction to hardball cricket. This is for cricketers who are looking to play hardball cricket for the first time.

Ages 9-12 yrs, 12:30pm- 2pm.
This is for players who have already had at least one season of hardball cricket.

COST: $25 per day or $65 for all 3.

Is your child keen to give cricket a go? Or already registered and wanting to have a bit of a run around?

Our Junior Open Days are coming up QUICKLY! 🙌

These sessions are a great chance for new and returning players to get involved and have a hit ahead of the upcoming season.

All players wanting to play for the Club need to attend one of these sessions.

Wednesday 9 September | 5–6pm
Wednesday 16 September | 5–6pm
Weather dependent — cancelled if wet.

📍 WEEKEND — Lincoln University High Performance Centre

Saturday 19 September
🏏 Hardball: 10–11am & 11am–12pm
🥎 Softball: 12.30–1.30pm & 1.30–2.30pm

Sunday 20 September
🏏 Hardball: 9–10am & 10–11am
🥎 Softball: 11am–12pm & 12–1pm

Whether your child is picking up a bat for the first time or is already part of the Lincoln Cricket family, we’d love to see them there! ❤️🖤

Canterbury Country Cricket Association is running a series of holiday cricket programmes during the October school holidays. Sessions are designed to provide players with a fun, active environment to develop their cricket skills and prepare for the upcoming season.

Thursday 1 October – Weedons Cricket Club
Time: 9:00am–1:00pm
Cost: $50 per day
Players: Section 1–3 cricketers

Monday 5 & Tuesday 6 October – MainPower Oval
Time: 9:00am–1:00pm
Cost: $50 per day
Players: Section 1–3 cricketers

Wednesday 7 October – MainPower Oval
Time: 9:00am–12:00pm
Cost: $40
Players: Section 3 & 4 players ONLY
This session is specifically designed for softball only

Wednesday 7 – Friday 9 October – Weedons Cricket Club
Time: 9:00am–1:00pm
Cost: $50 per day
Players: Section 1–3 cricketers

🏏 SECTION 4 — WHAT IF SATURDAY DOESN’T WORK FOR YOU? 🌙

We know Saturdays can be tricky for busy families, so we’re excited about a new option being explored for Section 4 cricket this season!

Country Cricket is looking at offering Friday night cricket, giving kids the chance to play cricket while keeping Saturday mornings free 🙌

If your child would love to play cricket but Saturday commitments have made it difficult, this could be the perfect option for your family.

🏏 Section 4 cricket
🌙 Friday night games
👋 A great way to meet new friends
💚 All the fun of being part of Lincoln Cricket Club
🙌 A fantastic option for families who can't commit to Saturday cricket

There is one catch… Country Cricket needs a minimum of six Section 4 teams across the wider Association for the Friday night competition to go ahead.

So, if Friday night cricket sounds like it could work for your family, we'd love to hear from you! The more interest we have, the better chance we have of getting a team or two together and making this option happen.
