A huge mihi to three of our kura tuarua (colleges) who competed at the Lower North Island Secondary Schools Netball Tournament!
Amongst 38 teams in the B Grade, our 3 kura represented themselves and our wider netball community with pride and mana.

A massive shoutout to all the coaches, managers, whฤnau, supporters and sponsors who helped make the week possible. Tournament weeks take a whole crew behind the scenes in the lead up to and during the week and that tautoko allows our rangatahi to get out there, compete and represent their kura. They have an opportunity to be seen by talent scouts from the Netball Central Zone.
A special mihi also to our very own Netball Horowhenua committee member and qualified umpire, Chanelle Golding, who represented our centre on the whistle, umpiring throughout the week. ๐๐ฝ๐
These young ladies are not only amazing players,
they are great friends and role models. Each team made efforts to tautoko and watch each other's games and wish each other luck. Netball is more than a game, it is a place to build wonderful friendships.
Awesome to see our local players, coaches and officials representing netball on the wider stage.
