What a turn out!!! 🙌🏼

Thank you to everyone who came to give us a hand today. The place looks amazing. It was awesome having so many of you help with cleaning and rearranging the equipment. And it got the job done so much faster. Many hands really do make light work! 🙏🏼

Trav was blown away by the amount of you who were here to help. He even said 'he didn't think he had that many friends'. So that's a testament to all of you who came today.

We still have a few pieces of equipment to add before the space is complete but for now, I hope we can all keep the space tidy and you all enjoy using the gym more 💪🏼

Thanks again! What an awesome community of people we have at Work Place.

Hi all,

Liv here 👋🏼

As you're probably already well aware, Work Place Fitness has been under construction recently with the installation of insulation and a new roof (which is very exciting!)

With all the equipment being moved around, this gives us an opportunity to re-organise and clean the space. I'm reaching out to the gym community to help.

We will be holding a gym community Cleaning Bee on Sunday 12th Oct between 10-2pm for any members who want to give back to their gym space. A BBQ lunch will be provided while we clean and move the equipment around.

Even if you only had 10-20 mins to give to clean your favourite piece of equipment, or help us move some kit, that would be greatly appreciated.

As many of you know, Travis is the first to help out his community and goes above and beyond to make sure his members and wider community are happy and healthy. I think it would be a really great opportunity to give back to him and the space he has created for all of us. And an opportunity to use those muscles to lift the equipment, because they aren't just for show right....

No need to RSVP, just turn up on Sunday anytime from 10-2pm. We'll provide the food, good tunes and cleaning products, all you need to do is jump in and get your hands dirty.

Thanks for your support, I hope we can get as many of our gym community there to help as possible.

If you can't make the date, feel free to clean your piece of equipment, grab your lost property off the shelves and take your water bottle home with you any time over the next week. Any lost property or posessions left over after we have finished cleaning will be going in the bin.
