Leeston Rugby is heading into a massive milestone — 150 years in 2027 — and we need our club community to help shape what comes next! ❤️🤍

📅 TONIGHT – Monday 12 October
⏰ 7.30pm
📍 Leeston Rugby Clubrooms

This is your chance to have your say, share your ideas, help make positive changes and play a part in the future of our club.

💪 We’re looking for new committee members and more people willing to get involved. You don’t need to have all the answers or years of experience — just a passion for our club and a willingness to help.

Whether you’re a current player, past player, parent, supporter or simply someone who cares about Leeston Rugby, we want you in the room tonight!

Don’t leave it to someone else to shape our future. Come along, speak up, put your hand up and help us build a stronger club for the next generation.

🔥 Make the time. Be part of the conversation. Help shape the next 150 years.

This is a special joint initiative between Leeston Rugby Football Club and our senior brothers at BDI. We’ve designed this programme to keep your skills sharp, your fitness high, and our community strong.

As we build toward our massive 150th Jubilee in 2027, every session counts in laying the groundwork for a successful future. Don't let your game get rusty – start your off-season right!

Here are the details you need:
⏰ TIME: be ready to go @ 7:00 PM

We're already planning for the future! NEXT WEDNESDAY (following the Wednesday night session), we'll be firing up the grill for a Player Recruitment Barbecue! 🌭🍔

🔥 OFF-SEASON ELITE PLAYER DEVELOPMENT IS HERE! 🔥

Attention all players ready to elevate their performance!

Leeston Rugby Off-Season Elite Player Development Program is almost upon us, starting THIS WEDNESDAY at 7:00 P.M. at the club, we begin the first session of a focused six-week block.

This is the perfect opportunity for any player wanting to take their game to the next level.
Leeston’s own John Legg has designed program built around fundamental run-catch-pass development, alongside targeted aerobic and anaerobic capacity building. We'll finish off each session with high-intensity anaerobic games, specifically structured to practice core skills under pressure in a game-simulation environment.

Leeston Rugby has a rich history of developing players over the last decade who have gone on to play at a high level. Guys like Shun Miyake (Canterbury NPC player) and Alister Collins (Ellesmere Rugby Senior) have all taken part in this very program over the last few years.

If you are serious about taking your game to the next level, this is for you. This program is specifically aimed at players with their sights set on playing for Leeston or BDI in our 2027 Jubilee year. Ages 15+

See you this Wednesday!
