Client focused and results driven, we pride ourselves on providing a safe, fun and non-intimidating atmosphere for our ladies. Many of my Lifters come to me with one goal ; they don’t want to end up like their mothers.

And what they really mean is this:

They’ve watched a life slowly get smaller.

Because it doesn’t happen all at once. It’s the quiet drift…

You used to carry all the bags. Now you take two trips.

You used to get on the floor. Now you hesitate… or don’t.

No one decides this. It just becomes your normal.

Most people call it ageing but, I disagree! It’s what happens when we stop asking our bodies to do things.

You stop lifting → you get weaker → you avoid it more → and the gap widens.

It feels like ageing… so you accept it. But your body hasn’t given up.
It’s still incredibly responsive.

The women who turn this around aren’t special , they just decide they’re not done yet.

So here’s your question:

What have you quietly stopped doing?

And did your body actually tell you to stop… or did you just assume it was time?

Because most of those doors aren’t locked, they have just been left closed for a while.

Start asking your body again🩵💚🩵

Lift is built on 3 mindset foundations;
* Consistency is Key,
* Progress Not Perfection and
* More Than Nothing.

This consistency thing is tricky! Simon Sinek sums it up so beautifully in this quick video. The kind of service provided isn't tangible, it's not about instant reward or quick fixes.

Lift is for tomorrow but not tomorrow's, tomorrow but, rather the tomorrow 2,5,10,15 years into the future. The future where you want to be living your best life!
Life in your years not years in your life! Lift is about investing now with understanding and acceptance that much of the gratification will be delayed.

I'm asking my women to trust me week in, week out, to continue to commit to the task of 'Get Fit- Live Life- Be Strong' and stay the course no matter how windy it gets! To do this takes a vision and faith!

A Lift we try our best to focus on the fundamentals of which strength training and protein provide a solid foundation. So, this is a great share from Kiwi Dietician Mikki Williden. A hoorah to "you can’t escape ageing. But you can change the trajectory of it."

I’m not saying this to make you feel bad.

But we take our relative health for granted in the here and now.

We’re alright now, which makes it easy to put off the really important things.

So many say they ‘need to strength train’ or they ‘should eat more protein’ but that’s as far as it goes. Weeks pass and still nothing changes.

Yet almost everyone I talk to in my groups and as clients truly want to be strong, fit, capable, healthy, independent into their later decades. I mean who wouldn’t?

It’s not controversial that we lose muscle mass by the decade after our 30s. That sarcopenia is a real threat to our health span. That we need more protein as we age. That falls in our older years is one of the leading causes of early death.

You can’t escape ageing. But you can change the trajectory of it.

Saying you’re going to do it isn’t the same as doing it.

Resistance training at any age is backed by science. And so is Lift. 💚💙The foundations of Lift are built on proven methods, not fads and the research keeps showing why that matters.

Take the LIFTMOR study (below), for example:
Postmenopausal women with low bone density participated in just two sessions a week of supervised high-intensity resistance and impact training. In only eight months, they gained an average of 2.9% bone density in their lower spine. 💪

And the control group? They did stretching and light resistance training and lost 1.2% over the same timeframe. Scary how quickly things can decline without the right approach.

With our move to Hautapu, we now have a rare chance for a few new women to join our incredible community. 9am and 5:35pm spots are full, but I have:

✅ 10:15am
✅ a 4:25pm.
