Dear Snowboarding Community:
We received guidance from the governor of Oregon, Kate Brown that states “AT THIS TIME” overnight camps are not permitted to operate. Given the timing, we have made the proactive decision to move Session 1 & Session 2 campers into our later Sessions 3-6 (July 5 – August 11). We understand this is unfortunate news, but rest assured, we are still hard at work preparing camp to be ready to go as soon as it is legal and responsible to open.
For options, we are offering those registered for Sessions 1 & 2 to be: 1) moved to a later session this summer (space permitting), or 2) to maintain a full camp credit for money you have already paid. These credits are good for any product we offer, including those through Wy’ East Mountain Academy, and will be good for 4 years instead of our standard 2 years. We are a small business that needs your support and ask for your understanding on our credit policy.
With that being said, all is not lost as we are still offering day camps throughout this spring and summer as well as planning to open OVERNIGHT CAMPS starting in July.
To discuss what option is best for you, we will be calling every camper registered for Sessions 1 and 2 personally over the next two weeks to discuss these options. In the meantime, stay safe out there, we will be contacting you about your account soon. For more information please contact our office at 503-206-8520. Thank you for being a part of our camp family!
