Little bit of 303 action this arvo, weather was a bit average but nice to check they are on at 200m before a little meat gathering outing tomorrow.
did well with her first shot with an old open site 303!

What an awesome night, first find for my pup Grunt he's doing so well with his training it was awesome to have him take me into a downed Pig, also happens to be my biggest pig to date not a ripper in sight but good to get her off the paddocks and she will be great in to pot!

A little late in posting this but here it is,
Got out for a quick overnighter with a good mate, it was an awesome two days Stags roaring gunning all over the faces, wind and Terrain made it challenging and hard to watch some big boys slip away, but managed to bag a solid 9pter on the decent, turned out to be an old boy as well.
Great time and added to the memory bank.

Not sure where to start team,

It's been an emotional, trying and sometimes overwhelming time. So due to some massive life changes and the need to work on me I've made the move south, I'm now living and calling lake Coleridge home.

We have been on 3 pretty cool trips in the last few weeks.

Firstly 4 days up a local river, my oldest boy was able to come down for this which made it truly special, we was able to get his first stag, no monster but a epic stalk and massive recovery.

Then me and two of my best mates, who also happen to live in Coleridge headed up into to the alps area for 7 days, this was cut short by 3 due to bad weather but we still got some animals down. Time in the hills with mates is time well spent.

Lastly my good mate Michael, Hookie to his mates so I call him Michael haha.
Did an overnighter up Steepface just off the Rakaia. This was more to achieve a goal Hookie has had for the last 4 years following a life changing accident, it was awesome to be there with him.

I hope you enjoy the pics as much as we enjoyed the time in the hills.
