Good news we are moving into Covid-19 Level 2 on Thursday, 14th of May.
This means that I will commence my Hatha Yoga classes in the Kuaotunu Hall from next Tuesday, 19th of May 10.00am and 3rd Age Yoga on Saturday, 23th of May, 9.00am.
Physical distancing, infection prevention and control requirements must be met.
The rule is maximum 10 people in a room and 1 meter apart, and there will only be 9 people allowed to attend the class, so it will be on a first-come first-served basis.
All gatherings should record attendees to help for contact tracing if needed.
Therefore I will have a sheet on the table that you need to fill in with your contact details, before commencing the class.
This means there is a little more time involved than just turning up with your mat.
I ask you kindly for this reason to arrive a little earlier than usual so we can still start promptly. If for any reason it gets a little too close to starting time of course you can fill in the form after class.
However I do ask of you to refrain from attending if you are feeling unwell or have a cold how minor it may be. We still need to keep each other safe.

Hello everyone

It is with difficulty that I made the tough decision to stop (on hold) my Hatha Yoga classes from today. Things are changing so quickly, even yesterday morning I thought I would go on till the end of the month at least, but then in the afternoon I started to doubt and here I am with my decision.
I discussed my yoga classes and the possible Covid-19 infection risks with some health professionals. They recommend I cancel all my classes for the time being in order to minimise the risk of spreading, to flatten the curve.

Observing and keeping up to date with the rapid changes and speaking with my family overseas I want to be ahead of the inevitable and take my social responsibility seriously. Learning from what is happening in Europe we should be able to do this.

So therefore my Hatha Yoga is cancelled until further notice.

Stay safe, stay healthy till better times arrive.

Arohanui,
Jose
