Our steps up to #11 tee have been replaced. This was very much needed as a few golfers have fallen recently. Thanks to Don Latimer (our volunteer builder) on the right and his apprentice Chris Duckworth on the left of the photo. Also thanks to Jeff Pascoe, Gary Aldridge and Mark Ivamy. Our volunteers are a wonderful asset to our club.

BREAKFAST CATCH UP
Yesterday a good number of club players met at the clubrooms where our member Ollie Overend cooked a great breakfast for us. He had help from members manning the barbecues and helping where needed. As it was only about 2 degrees outside, the fire was roaring and the hot food was greatly appreciated. After the meal, there was a three person Ambrose competition.
Results.
First with a best nett of 58.67 (c.b.)were Graham Morell and Tim McCaffrey and Jelle Keizer.
Second also with a best nett of 58.67 were Hiram Taylor, Ahren Watene-Jones and Vicki Eastgate.
Third were Clinton Gapper, Sue Latimer and Ian Molloy with a nett score of 59.83

It was a great day of golf after our breakfast. Many thanks Ollie.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS DAY
Today we held our annual Club Championships and the weather played its part as well. After heavy rain for most of the week, the sun shone to help dry out underfoot. All matches were planned to go 36 holes with the Junior Men finalists needing all 36 holes to find the winner.
The sun shone from the start of the matches at 8.45am, breaking for lunch after 18 holes then completing the second half of the day until a winner was found.
Many thanks to Villa Maria who sponsored our special day.
This is a special day on our calendar. Congratulations to all the champions and to the runners-up.
