McDonald's Kihikihi Speedway

McDonald's Kihikihi Speedway A dynamic little speedway track nestled among suburbia in the small Waikato town of Kihikihi Surcharge may apply for major event meetings

Kihikihi Speedway Club was established in 1954 when permission was granted to build a basic race track on the Kihikihi Domain. The club is still at that original location, having upgraded the venue for the benefit of spectators and competitors. In the early years the club focused on the open wheel and bike classes. The concrete wall was built in the early 90’s and a wider range of speedway classes were added to the schedule. Today Kihikihi Speedway contracts Saloons, Super Saloons, Superstocks, Stockcars, Youth Ministocks, Midgets, 1/4 Midgets, Sprintcars & Sidecars. Kihikihi raced predominately on Sunday afternoons until the installation of track lights in 2014, allowing the club to race on Saturday evenings. This ultimately meant the club could run bigger and better family friendly events. McDonalds Kihikihi Speedway Admission
2022/23 Standard Public Admission Prices

Adults: $25
Family (2 adults + maximum 4 children): $50
Children 5 years & under: Free
Children 6 years to 16 years: $15
Students with ID: $15
Seniors with Gold Card: $15

Russel has been part of the furniture at 2K’s since ages ago. As a competitor in Production Saloons and Streetstocks, and in recent years as Club President, Russel has excelled in this role. He has just been voted in as President for his ninth consecutive term, a feat no former leader can match.
