Nz champs time!

It's NZ Sidecar Champs time down at Kihikihi Speedway and Friday night's stream will be FREE!
It's looking like it will be an epic two nights of racing with qualifying on Friday and finals on Saturday and we can't wait to show you some epic bike racing.
We are stoked to have Sharns With Sparky on the 🎤

Why is Friday free?

We have been working behind the scenes on some new developments including our new remote production studio. This new infrastructure will allow us to be in more places at once and will ensure the best coverage from tracks.

In order for us to use these new systems, we need to have them fully tested, the best way for us to test is on live events with real viewers.
We have decided to provide Friday night for free, all we ask in return is to consider filling out our post event survey, it will be a series of questions around how your experience was and if you had any issues, It is also a great opportunity to give us feedback on what you like (or don't like)

Well does explain why bike has been losing power for a while and definitely explains why chain snapped in our last meeting for the season
Blown head gasket in a few places broken cam chain tensioner and self explanatory one unhappy gear box
But that’s speedway for ya! Throw some more money and time at it and we will be back to fly the colours! 🏁🏁23c

Well the boys had a great night at qualifying for the NZ Sidecar Champs, finishing 5th equal on points.
They had some extremely tough heats, but their efforts meant they were in the top 12 to go straight through, which meant not having to work extra hard and run in a B final.
Well done Team23C! Let's do it all again tomorrow 🏁

Thanks to everyone who has asked about our tshirts.
We have been caught a little unaware of the number of people who are eager to support the team by wearing these and only have a limited number to take to the track this weekend.
So…. We are now taking orders, these will be $30 each
Please message us with the sizes and quantity you require, we will get these made and out to you as soon as we can.
In the meantime, come and see us in the pits before racing on Friday night, grab a flag, there will be a treat for the kids, photo and autograph opportunities if you wish .

Start your new year off with a hiss and a roar, with what will be an epic evening of fast a furious Sidecar action, this is the best field of sidecars to be assembled in the South Island in 2024.
Featuring the City South Van Spares 2024 New Zealand Sidecar GP with Junior Solo and Flat track bikes in support.
Adults $ 20.00, Family 2x Adults 3x kids U 15 $ 40.00, Seniors with a Gold Card $ 15.00, Kids u 15 with an Adult $ 10.00 & u 5 free. Sorry, no EFTPOS is Available.
We are situated on Weedons Ross Rd, Waimakariri River end, opposite the West Melton Aerodrome.
No Parking will be available on the spectator embankment.
Hot food and coffee are available.
No dogs or glass in the venue.
