Waimak United Football CLUB Waimak United Football Club is one of the largest sports clubs in North Canterbury. Our office is in the Sports Hub at MainPower Stadium on Coldstream Road.

Waimak United are a community football club offer footballing opportunities from 2 years to over 50's, with a mixture of social and competitive teams. Waimak United is one of the largest sports club in North Canterbury, and one of the biggest football clubs in Canterbury. We have grounds at Kendall park on Island Road, Kaiapoi, and Maria Andrews on Coldstream Road in Rangiora.

To the ones who spend hours line marking dozens of fields that our players will be running around on today. To the ones who prepared hundreds of shirts ready for the little ones to wear with pride. To the ones who pour and pour into our club through their efforts on our executive committee. To the ones that dedicate months of their year to coach our teams and develop our players through support, encouragement and mentorship. To the ones that organise our teams behind the scenes, pitch in at our fundraisers, jump at any opportunity to use their own skills or expertise to help our club in any way they can..

Waimak United Football Club is phenomenal because of every single contribution that adds up to the whole. We are one team, and our incedible volunteers are the unbreakable foundation of our club.

Waimak united FC is hosting the NZF Junior Level 2 course this Sunday! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Where: Woodend Community Centre
Time: 3.00pm-6.30pm
​​​​​​​Cost: Free

You don’t need the JL1 to be eligible for this course and you don’t need to be a coach either! Anyone is welcome from age 15 up and we really recommend this opportunity.

🚨 THEFT FROM OUR KENDALL PARK TURF 🚨

Unfortunately, we are gutted to share our changing rooms at Kendall Park Turf were accessed overnight, and several items have been stolen.

We believe the incident occurred between 9:00pm Thursday 11th June and 11:30am Friday 12th June.

We are asking the community for help—did anyone notice any unusual activity during this time? You may have seen someone leaving the area with items such as a projector, our VEO camera tripod stand, vacuum, cleaning supplies (chemicals & detergents), mop & bucket, toilet paper rolls and a large orange chilly bin amongst others. Theft like this hurts our club, players and teams :(

We appreciate your support in helping us look after our facilities.
If anyone can help with donations to replace the items stolen, our club would really appreciate it.
