WINTER TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES AT CURE

Winter training is underway, with rowing sessions at 8.30am on Sundays, Erg/Gym sessions at 5.30pm on Wednesdays, and additional on-water training available on Saturdays by arrangement.

Our winter squad is focused on building fitness, developing technique and preparing for the upcoming regatta season, with opportunities available for rowers of a range of ages and experience levels.

Whether you’re a school leaver looking to continue rowing, a current rower seeking additional training opportunities, new to the area, or someone considering a return to the sport after time away, we’d love to hear from you.

To find out more about winter training opportunities, please contact the club at [email protected] and we'll will be in touch.

💜 Congratulations to Catherine Kappelle, who was recently recognised at the Rowing New Zealand AGM with the Canterbury Rowing Association Volunteer of the Year Award.

Catherine received the award in recognition of her outstanding service to the Canterbury Rowing Association, including the significant work she undertook in helping develop and implement the Association’s new Constitution, a complex and important project that required considerable time, dedication and expertise.

Catherine is also a highly valued and respected member of the CURE Boating Club community. Her commitment, leadership and willingness to contribute behind the scenes have benefited our club in countless ways over many years.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Catherine as part of CURE and congratulate her on this thoroughly deserved recognition. 💜🚣‍♀️
