We are super pumped to be a finalist at this year's Speedway New Zealand Awards being held in Christchurch this Saturday.

Presenting our club, fans, and partners/sponsors professionally is always something we strive for so again we are extremely proud to be nominated for the award of Best Presented Team.

Win or lose, we are honoured to be amongst the other awesome finalists!

Fingers crossed we win for all the awesome people behind us.

Team management are holding a meeting for drivers keen to represent Woodford Glen Speedway & the Eagles at the Woodford Glen Shop, next Friday, June 26th, 7pm.

Massive shout out to our boy Harley Robb on becoming 2nz at the NZ Stockcar Championshop in front of his home town fans at Woodford Glen Speedway.

A proud moment for the family making history with Harley lining up in the finals alongside his father & brother aswell as becoming the first Christchurch driver to podium the event. To achieve all that on home soil is special and to have four generations of family & his boy Coop along for the ride makes it that much sweeter!

Congratulations to all finalists, especially our club mates Huggies, Wade Sweeting, Denis Andreassend, Jack Honeybone, Will Pitcher, Braydon Lennon, Sam Jack, Craig Robb, Brooke McPherson, Hadleigh Smith and Liam Gray - you all did the club proud

Can't talk history without giving a shout out to the back to back 1nz Caleb Ireland and to our Nelson mate Riley Eathorne who drove his ass off for 3nz

Lastly a massive shoutout to the Woodford Glen team working tirelessly all year in preparation for the mammoth event, battling the elements and showcasing a successful weekend. We know its the thankless job, but we see you.

Big day for our club today as Woodford Glen Speedway Association Inc. hosts the 2026 New Zealand Stockcar Championship.

170 rabid Stockcar drivers are hungry and set to contest the title in what is always one of the hardest titles to claim in our sport.

Shout out to defending champ 1nz Caleb Ireland
Who has represented the number around the country and been a great ambassador for the class.

Best of luck to our local hopes, including Eagles members Harley Robb and Jay Huggies Holtham aswell as our hotrod Eagles designer Braydon Lennon. Give it everything you got.

Our Eagles team have all come up in the stockcar class amd made big impacts at the event. Jayden Ward claimed the 1nz 2nz and 3nz in a back to back to back effort. Scott Tennant won 2nz a few years back. Saus claimed 5nz back in 2015 while Huggies claimed 5nz in 2019.

Get along and support the drivers and club. If you cant make it along, The Pits TV got you covered for the live stream and dont forget to check the Woodford Glen Shop for all ya merch
