Paddocks to Peaks Boutique Guided Horse Treks

Lees Valley Station
Single-day Trek ,one night stay
Saturday the 17th - Sunday the 18th of February

6 riders max
Bring your own horse or hire a horse from Paddock to Peaks.

Intermediate is the minimum level required as riding conditions vary.
BYO horses and all riders need to be an adequate level of fitness.

Arrive early Saturday at 8.30am
Rideout at 10am
Return to woolshed 4pm approx
Departing Sunday after brekkie

Includes lunch, evening meal, cozying up in the woolshed for the night on your own camp stretcher

You will need to provide your own:
Breakfast, Snacks of choice, and drinks!

$380pp for BYO horse
$480pp for hire of paddocks to peaks horse

Payment in full by Tuesday the 13th February

What a weekend , mother nature gave us everything she had in her tank!
Hail, rain,wind then beautiful sunshine to complete the weekend !

Picked up so many tips and tricks other horse lovers use to make riding safe and fun .

You guys were a fantastic group , thank you all for making the journey into Lee's Valley to visit and ride with Paddock to Peaks.

I bet you and your GGs, slept well last night!

Hope to see you again sometime soon.

Rocky has been with a lovely family for the last 4.5 years, ridden at home by all members.
He has looked after them so well but has not traveled far from home base.
He then was sold to another lovely owner, who loves him however she has come to the decision that he is just too tall for her, and she would like to get out and about a bit more so the mounting from the ground issue has popped up!
We have Rocky in our care on behalf of his second owner and Rocky is now in light work, we are building on his fitness as he likes his food and does very well indeed!
Needing to lose some weight and build on his fitness.
In another ten days, he will be available for viewings in Whiterock Loburn, North Canterbury.
Good to catch, shoe, float, truck, dentist.
Safe guy to be around on the ground
Gets a bit anxious if mates leave him when he is tied up or leaving them behind.
A small tap of encouragement seems to sort that out.
Rocky may have previously hunted but we are not 100 percent sure of this. Will follow up on this and add to the post.
He has been used as a trail rider and a family horse mostly.
We see him going to a good home where there would be a variety for him, maybe cowboy challenge, trail riding, group treks, working equitation days, pole classes, and small local show hunter comps.
Could suit a knowledgeable Mum returning to riding.
Can't really fault him apart from, when he's asked to leave his buddies, shakes his head, and has the odd stomp of a hoof.

Lee's Valley Whistler River ride, 4 hours Saturday 3rd February.
Stay overnight in the wooLshed/tent, float, or truck.

Lees Valley Island Hills ride, 4 hours 4th February.

BBQ evening meal and lunch provided. Just need your own brekkie, snacks, and drink!

Arrive at approximately 10.30am on the 3rd ride and departs at 12.15.

The next day the 4th we will float approx 6 km to Island Hills departing the woolshed at approximately 8.30 - 9am.
You will be headed back home around 3pm.

Lee's Valley is located 21 km from Oxford, North Canterbury. Nice easy farm tracks are great for fitness and experience!
Come and enjoy our backyard!
Maximum of ten riders only.

Front shoes or boots are recommended.
Medium level of fitness required for horse and rider.

Hi everyone, The cottage is in the very final stages of completion.
It will be available for 6 people and 6 BYO horses.
As the cottage is on a working farm the treks are required to be guided.
You have the option of meals, linen, and cleaning being provided
at an extra cost.

Also on offer is self-cater, bring your sleeping bags and clean before you leave.
