Yesterday at our AGM, the club had the pleasure of recognising and celebrating some very deserving members.
We were proud to present Life Membership to Adrienne L, Geoff, and Jan C in recognition of their outstanding contribution, commitment, and service to the club over many years.
Congratulations to Gill & Greg, who were presented with the Atkins Consolation Cup for their achievement of finishing third overall in the 2026 Atkins Competition.
Well done also to Cheryl H, Ian, and Sophie, who received club trophies in recognition of their achievements in their respective divisions of the club’s annual singles tournament.

This afternoon the Kaiapoi Croquet Club proudly hosted the Kaiapoi/Rangiora Fun Day Challenge 🏑🔵🔴⚫🟡
A fantastic afternoon was enjoyed by everyone, with plenty of fun, laughs, and friendly competition across the three games played. The day was then topped off with a yummy afternoon tea ☕🍰
Congratulations to Rangiora who proved to be the strongest team on the day and took home the win 🏆👏
A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the event such a fun and successful afternoon 😊

Great to hear from our traveling duo, Greg & Gill. They’ve enjoyed croquet games at Bath, Kenilworth & Bury Croquet Clubs. Bury is a top competition club with 8 high-quality lawns, known for hosting major events including the All England Championships. Croquet really is a fantastic way to meet people wherever you go in the world.

This is your club, and you can nominate members for key roles including President, Secretary, Treasurer, and the club Committee. Nomination forms are available in the clubrooms. If you’re interested in standing for a role, please arrange for someone to nominate you.

What a fantastic result for our 2 Kaiapoi teams this morning! 👏
Coming away with 3rd and 4th place in the Atkins Finals is an outstanding achievement and a true reflection of the hard work, skill, and determination shown throughout the competition. We couldn’t be prouder of both teams for representing our club so well. Congratulations to Edgeware for taking out the win in this year’s Atkins competition – well deserved! 🏆
Great effort all around and a result the whole club can celebrate! 💙
