All set up and ready to go for the Sth island production champ at Ashburton. 1st time racing here so wont be going hard, all about track time here and having fun.

Update:
Finished all 3x races and finished 6th overall on a track ive ner raced at and 1st ever championship meeting, so very happy with result.
And having a suprise visit from my parents was even better, finally got to see me race.

1st round of Oxford Speedway for the year and with that my first time racing with the big boys, 3x holdens, 1x v6 fto, 1x 1800cc vtec integra, and me and my 1600c levin, didnt know howm i was going to go, we only ended up racing 2 of the 3 races due to track safety, but with 2 races i was happy with 2x 3rd places, car went alot better than i thought but now i can do a couple changes which hopefully will help.
Next meeting for me is the CTRNZ sth island production champs at Ashburton speedway, why not go have some fun.

Oxford Speedway annual memorial meeting and the BT memorial meeting.
Went along to compete in the hobbie grade, Came with nothing and was happy just to get track time and close racing. Absolute cracker day and great turn out by all.
So 1st race started 4th and with a close race and keeping out of all the trouble came away with a 3rd.
2nd race started 6th so had a bit of work to do but kept it clean and out of any trouble that was going on and came away with a 1st place.
So with being a Grand prix meeting your position was determined by your points and after 2nd race I was tied with 122ox, Brian Mason, we had to do a coin toss which I won so went off grid one for main race. It was first across the line to take the big prize and thats where I stayed and finished 1st place in the memorial.
Thanks Oxford Speedway for a great meeting and the other racers.

Update.

Yesterday 11/12/22 went along to Oxford Speedway annual Christmas fun day,
Mother nature has been winning over the past couple months, so took car out to have a spin and try the new tyres out, there were no point just get out and have fun,
Race 1 - great start to the race had a good lead but lost it on 2nd last lap in the corner but still came 2nd.
Race 2 - good start to race but there were a couple stops due to other cars, once got going the car was a dream and ended up getting the 🏁 1st place which was good.

Bit of break now over Christmas period and hopefully finish off the car trailer ive been building.

Well today was meant to be my first ctrnz speedway event at Ashburton Speedway, left chch but due to mother nature the event was canceled, gutted by thats speedway for ya, looking forward to next event.
