Happy Friday everyone . A busy night ahead at Secondary School Comp tonight and we are all over the place in school gyms due to a stadium event . This makes the logistics of referee appointments really tricky and because of this we are struggling to get enough coverage . If you have not yet responded to Mert with availability for tonight and can help please do so . We have 5 junior games at the stadium at 4pm and only 1 referee there so far . Thanks everyone you are appreciated.

Jill Bolger receives the Sir Lance Cross Award for Exceptional Services to Basketball after more than 40 years of dedication to the game in Southland and across Aotearoa 🖤

A long-time leader within Southland Basketball, Bolger played a key role in establishing the Southland Sharks in 2010 and has remained instrumental in the franchise’s success ever since.

Her lasting impact on basketball administration, development and community pathways has helped shape generations of players, coaches and officials throughout New Zealand.
