Due to a strong Murihiku presence heading north to represent at the Tri Series in Dunedin, the trials scheduled for Sunday 28 July have been cancelled.

But don’t stand down just yet…

Once again, we are incredibly fortunate to have two absolute legends of the game stepping up to lead our campaign. Their knowledge, experience, passion, and commitment to MMMNA is something we value immensely.

MMMNA Expressions of Interest are now open for Mixed Nationals Players, Coaches, Managers & Umpires.

NZMMNA Board confirms that the Mixed Nationals tournament will move forward by two days, commencing Wednesday, 21 October 2026 and concluding Sunday, 25 October 2026 in Hawkes Bay.

Last year set a strong benchmark. Three teams on the national stage, with our A side narrowly missing out on a deserved finals spot and our Masters pushing deep into the tournament.

We’ve created an environment where players show up, compete, and genuinely enjoy it—and that’s why we keep growing.

If you want to be part of something competitive, well-run, and heading in the right direction, now’s the time to get involved.

Wow wow wow....what an honor Murihiku Masters Men 2026 received the Sportmanship Trophy...we may not have made it into top 4 but we are stoked to be 5th in NZ for Masters Grade and then to be honored with this beautiful Taonga for the best Sportsmanship Trophy throughout the Tournament over all Grades...a true honor for me as your Coach and Larny as your Manager to know that your continued mana, aroha and graciouness on and off the court has been reconised...love and blessings to you all ❤️

We started the day with a hard-fought game against Hawke’s Bay, going down 30–20.

The lads never gave up, even when things weren’t going our way — showing real grit and determination right to the final whistle.

We finish the round robin in 5th place.

We were set to take on Waikato Tainui in the 5 vs 6 seeding game, but unfortunately they were unable to field a team.

So proud of all our lads. The hard work and dedication they’ve put in — from trainings leading into this tournament to leaving everything out on the court game after game — has been outstanding. Tina and I couldn’t be more proud.

Everything we worked on showed up today. Effort, ex*****on, and pure grit 💪
