Well done to the 9A and 10A netball teams who took part in the Southland Secondary Schools Netball Champs on Sunday. Both teams had a successful tournament with some well fought games.

Special congratulations to the 10A who won the Year 10 Grade, beating SGHS in the final.

James Hargest Junior Campus runners had a great day out at Waimumu for the Southland Primary Schools Cross Country Championships today.

The conditions were excellent for running, and everyone performed amazingly. Well done in particular to the Year 8 13 year old girls team with everyone finishing in the top 15.

Well done to Sean I for winning the 13 year old boys section - superb effort.

Netball News 🏐

Congratulations to Sophie Baron and Lucy Crawford who play in our JHC Gold A team for their selection and success with their INC U16 representative season.

The team enjoyed several tournaments and ended the season on a high winning B Grade at the Tupuranga Netball Champs in Christchurch. The team was also lucky enough to have Whaea Steph Wilson as their wonderful assistant coach.

We are incredibly proud to acknowledge our James Hargest College students and staff member who have been nominated for this year's Southland Sports Awards. Their achievements, dedication, and commitment to their sports are outstanding and are a reflection of the hard work they put in both on and off the field.
