Evening Golfers,

A quick update on this week’s programme at The Langlands Invercargill Golf Club

Due to wet conditions and the forecast we have had to unfortunately postpone the two following tournaments…

•As already communicated, the Southland Matchplay Championship scheduled for this weekend has been postponed (new date to be confirmed).

•The Ladies Team Play Tournament planned for Thursday 24 September is also postponed and will now be rescheduled for October (date to be confirmed).

•The Interclub vs Queens Park Golf Club, to be held at QP this Saturday has also been postponed until further notice.

On a brighter note we have a Laing Shield Challenge on Saturday vs Green Acres.
Our team it’s rearing to go, if you wish to support them they are teeing off at 11.30am on Saturday.

Slightly damp underfoot didn’t stop some great scores being put up. Congrats to all the winners.

Good luck to the Laing Shield Team who challenge Green Acres next Saturday.

Ladies Interclub vs Riverton Golf Club

What a fantastic day on the course! The Invercargill Golf Club proudly hosted the ladies of the Riverton Golf Club for our interclub match.
After a wonderful round of golf in great company, it was a close contest, with Invercargill taking the average stableford score win 33 vs. 31!

Invercargill Average: 33 points
Riverton Average: 31 points

A huge thank you to all the ladies from Riverton for making the trip and sharing such a great day with us. Well played to everyone who participated!
