We fish 7 days a week between October and May! WildFly New Zealand operates on premier sections of the Mataura River with exclusive access to the most productive fishing areas.

Most trout will be in the 3-6 lb range with some up to 8 lbs or larger. New Zealand trout could be described as stubborn and the sharp eyes of a local guide working for you can mean the difference between celebration and commiseration.

We pick you up from your accommodation or meeting point in Invercargill, Gore or Mataura and take you direct to the Mataura River. It's never been easier to experience the adventure of adrenaline filled New Zealand fly fishing!
