Hello all current and past baddy club members.

We are restarting the weekly club night session on Wednesday 6 April, 6pm to 7.30pm at the Surrey Park Badminton Hall. This runs over the 6 winter months with the exception of school holidays.

Everyone is welcome back and as long as we keep our group under 25 then we do not need to check vaccination status. We wont be shaking hands and bring a mask for when you are not on the court to comply with the venue rules. Also bring your own water bottle as the kitchen is closed.

You are welcome to bring a friend, or come and make new friends. If you don't have a racquet then we can lend you one.

The cost is unchanged where you pay a one off $15 membership fee and $5 per session which can be paid in cash on the night or by direct credit to Smash Badminton Club 060925-0484385-00.

We look forward to seeing you on court.

Due to lockdown Smash will now finish for the season as we where due to end around mid September anyway. Hope you all enjoy your summer sports!

Kickstart 2021 with some great doubles!!
Entries must be in by Sunday 14th March 2021.
Begins Tuesday 16th March - 7.30pm (5 weeks)
A, B, C Grade Players

How does it work?
Entries are open for Boxed doubles ladder .
When: Tuesdays 7.30pm
9th March – 13th April : 5 Weeks
Who: A, B, C Grade Players
Where: Southland Badminton Hall
Cost: $35 per player
Enter as an Individual. You will be placed in a box of 4 with similar level players. Play 3 doubles games swapping partners.
Overall 3 games each night. The winner will move up a box and loser will move down a box every week.

Hi All

We are at the end of the club season with this Wednesday being the last night for 2020, we will resume again in March 2021.

On the final night this week we will play a mini club champs tournament followed by chips & fizz so we will probably go beyond our usual 7.30pm finish time, possibly around 8pm.

Its was a shorter season this year and rather disjointed due to a big break for lockdown and as it turned out many people decided to stay at home rather than venture out on cold Wednesday nights. Thanks to everyone who participated, have a good spring and summer and see you next year.
