Well, that's a wrap! 🏁

On Saturday night we officially ended the 25-26 Season with our annual Prizegiving.
Now the committee can finally stop checking the weather forecast every five minutes!

It was a fantastic evening celebrating our riders, volunteers, officials, sponsors, and all the people who make Oreti Park Speedway what it is.

A huge thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy, and support throughout the season. Whether you rode, flagged, announced, sold programmes, worked the gate, or just turned up and helped when needed – you're all legends.

A big thanks goes out to our MC for the Night Callum Innes and for also making our tasty party favors! 😆 And to everyone else who put the night together Thank you!! 🤘

At Oreti Park Speedway, life membership isn't just about what happens on the track.

Last night we were proud to recognise two very deserving Life Members and to add two more names to our brand new Life Members Board, done by the talented Bob Brookland.

Jason Harpur has dedicated countless years to our sport as a rider while Frank Brookland has contributed immensely behind the scenes as a Speedway New Zealand Steward.

Their journeys may have been different, but their commitment, passion, and service to our club and sport have been equally valuable.

It's a great reminder that you don't have to be a rider to become a Life Member of Oreti Park Speedway. Life Membership is about dedication, contribution, and the positive impact you make on our club, whether that's on the bike, in the pits, or working tirelessly behind the scenes.

Congratulations once again to our newest Life Members.
Thank you for everything you have done for Oreti Park Speedway and for the sport we all love.
