Pre-clip wash day for Dixie!

When doing a full clip, preparation will reflect on your results!
Be sure to give your horse a good wash a day or few prior for the best results!
Pay special attention to the top of horse, massage and lather well the rump area where the dirt sit close to the skin.
And the RINSE must be done really really well to remove all the dirt .

I really like this Lincoln product,buy it from Saddlery Warehouse.
After your clip, wash again to remove all the bits of hair and clipper oil, and then condition your horses coat with a good “hot oil” rinse, a Fantastic one is the one made by Flying Horse Ltd 🤗

AB Diva being a versatile and clever little pocket rocket. She is a sensitive wee petal. We don’t always agree , but when we do it’s lovly. 2025-2026 Season wind up , nice to be doing winter training now.
4th in Southland Working Equitation Preliminary Accumulator, 3rd in Dressage Southland Elementary Accumulator, and 4th Preliminary in recent Virtual Working Equitation competition, then recently Westwinds All Breeds show she won the best canter class and the best mannered class 🥰🦄
I need to get fitter to be better.
Working on our changes and our half pass.
I really do adore this pony 🦄

I’m Excited that I’ve just added a new set of super quiet clippers to my tool kit , to help with the most sensitive clients!!

Spring is getting close , so for a full clip in spring, consider August / September as the ideal time to plan ahead for . It won’t be long till your horse is malting , the shortest day of winter is just a week away yay!

Any type of clip can be done to suit your horse or pony’s needs

AB Diva taking part part in a showcase of Working Equitation at the Equisouth Festival in Mosgiel recently. A fairly busy atmosphere that she coped with well. We scored the highest % in the dressage test, in EOH we did some things super well, and we also mucked a few other things up too , that is reality.
Was a really fun event, with a range of many different equestrian related activities , displays, and a fair bit of shopping too!
