Last night myself and the Group Fitness instructors got together for one last Hoorah, a couple drinks and a meal at the Waikiwi pub! It was such a nice evening, good food, great banter and amazing company! 🥹🥰

Hannah is an amazing dancer and Zumba instructor and I think City Fitness couldn't have made a better choice to have her take over the Monday 4.30pm Zumba classes!!! If you want to come give it ago and see how freaking awesome this lady is, then flick me a message and I'll sign you in for a free trial before the week is over and I get kicked off the app 😏😅

CAUTION! LONG NOVEL AHEAD! LOL

As some of you may know, as i have announced this at each of my classes this week (and I write this with a heavy heart) I have made the decision to hand in my instructor belt, move on from instructing and put my time and energy into my family and the next chapter of my life.

Man, I've met some really cool people throughout my time at City. I've made some really great connections and forever friendships that I'm so grateful for.

To the members:
You guys are the biggest thing I loved about my job. Seeing some of you walk in a little shy and nervous of what to expect, then you grow into this huge ball of confidence who's come out of your shell and you shake you b***y with such sass and attitude!! The ones that have had a crappy day and you've used all your energy just to show up, then you walk out sweaty, smiling and ready to take on the world again. The ones that have so much going on in their lives who show up and for that 1 hour they can just let it all go and nothing else matters. You guys are the ones that helped me create that space and I am so grateful for that and for you.

To my Group Fight Whānau, Aaron, Crystal and Kylie. My Groove Girls, Lily and Marilou. My Zumba Queens, Andi, Ameera, Lily, Kylie, Hannah and also Kylee who i kept saying i would come to her Blast class but never did (🫣😅) You guys were work mates who became my friends, then my friends who became my family, man I'm gunna miss you guys so so much!

To the Boss Lady, Amanda:
Since day one I've always called you "the boss lady" and since day one you've always told me not to lol but meh, you'll always be the boss lady!! I have so much respect and love for you. You inspired me so much and I'm truly grateful to have met you.

Before this novel I've written gets any longer lol I just want to thank absolutely everyone I've met along the way and i hope to keep seeing you at the amazing classes from the floor instead of the stage. Next week is my last week as a City Fity instructor and I'd love for you to come join me if you can xo

Mōrena! Did you know that the beautiful Marilou Embling (our GG trainee) is also a Zumba instructor? Even though she's still new to the world of instructing and doesnt currently hold a class (not yet anyway 😉) she still has a license to teach, amazing right?!!

Last night at Zumba Marilou took a track on stage for the very first time ever and wow, she is good!!!! Check her out 😏🥰

Tomorrow I'll be covering HITT at 9.30am and we'll be doing as many reps as possible with AMRAP!!. Friday is my usual lunch time HITT class and we'll be sweating it out every minute, on the minute, with FAST5!! If HITT's not your thing, then come join me on Sunday 10am and we can smash it out together with GROUP FIGHT 💪🏼 👊🏼

Check out these two dancing Queens that came to my class tonight!! Purple leggings, purple Groove t-shirt and nothing but smiles throughout the whole class!! Man we have the best members EVER!!

Thanks Zumba and Groove with Lily for your primo photo skills, i reckon we could have the whole class rocking purple at every class by the end of the year 😉😅
