Day 1 down with a very mixed bag - Lily and her TP team- Neve, Eliza and Mia have qualified for next round today- it was a nervous wait at the start with Lily’s bike requiring mechanic’s attention leaving her standing on track for a period of time as the other girls also waited on the line.. the boys Ollie, Riley, Jack and Remi had a shocker of a TP - first a false start there are several variations of story as to why will leave that there……. second attempt gate failed - Ollie is rider 1 so all this happened to him … 3rd attempt away… until Riley suffered a mechanical and needed to pull up this left the lads at 6’s and 7’s it was a really hard watch as they struggled to bring themselves back together they did however manage to finish which showed some real spirit and guts - however they won’t progress through to next round. Looking at times predicted for them and those that went through the lads would have made next round .. such is sport… really felt for the lads 🥲
So onwards we head to Day 2
Lily will have elimination qualifying and TP first round. Ollie has a day off with elimination qualifying tomorrow.
